Privacy Policy

HolidayHack AI is free. We show no ads, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone for marketing. We collect the minimum needed to run the product, and you can delete your account and everything with it yourself, any time, from your profile settings.

• Account data — your name, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Planning data — the country, work week, leave balance, custom holidays, and vacation plans you save.
• Squad data — trips you create or join, your RSVP and votes, and the display name your squad sees.
• Basic technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) kept briefly for security and debugging.

Using the public holiday explorer or the landing-page calculator requires no account: your inputs there (country, leave balance) are processed in your browser and not stored by us.

• To generate and save your vacation plans.
• To coordinate squad trips between you and people you invite.
• To send transactional email only — verification codes (OTP), password resets, and trip notifications you trigger. No marketing email.
• To keep the service secure (rate-limiting, abuse prevention).

• No selling or renting of personal data. Ever.
• No advertising or third-party ad trackers.
• No reading of your calendar — exports are files we generate for you.

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (currently Supabase for the database and authentication, and our email delivery provider for transactional messages). They process data on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes.

You are in control: delete your account yourself, any time, from your profile settings (Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account). Deletion is immediate and permanent — your profile, saved plans, trips you created, and notifications are all erased.
